I sent this PM to Mock26. Mock asked me to post this publicly.

My issues with B2 essentially. A further explanation of what I was seeking.

This is for you and only you friend. We'll I hope so. You want explanation and sure I'll share. I didn't write my post to harp on B2, there us some good stuff there but lots of trash(unwanted/unneeded) material.

The world setting - useless not my world.
Where it is set - location in a world. Not to my liking.
The map of the keep - useless I have better maps.
The characters in the keep - useless I have my own Npcs.
The caves of chaos map - altered to my tastes so not used as is.
The owlbear gone - they don't exist.
Orcs gone ' they don't exist
Just about Every room description- gone as rooms are all redone basically.
I like the idea of the orc lair trap - group monster lair trap.
I like the idea of a chaos cult would expand on this and add more to reflect it on map.
I like the explanations of how to run/maintain a game.

So to me tons of trash to read, material not needed and discarded.
Also excellent ideas and support material.

I think, well I think I think, and has yet to be proven that adventures could be written better to included the gems, offer tools to construct and generally be more useful to allow me to make my own b2 - which I have.

That was my point.

Not to hate on modules - to see if they could be constructed to be more useful.

Now you may find everything useful in every module or book you read. Maybe that's how it goes. I was thinking is there a different and possibly better way.
